this our woven door of light
traced through my fingers
watching you as your eyes grace these words
our cities weave new branches
and the forest sings again

welcome my heart
sit in your seat have your wine

our words were never enough to say
what our embrace has spoken.
heart pressed to my heartbeat.
holding me on the planet.

the thorn is out.
my heart surrenders to wholeness.
the lamp is lit
will you come and sit with me?
